History of Flash Moving Company

We’re Anthony and Phillip, and we stand behind Flash Moving. We both used to work for a local moving company in Boston, MA. However, one day, we had to decide whether to stay with the company or venture out independently to grow professionally.

While working as hired movers, we noticed areas for improvement that would benefit both the clients and the company’s employees. This was when we chose to establish our own company, Flash Moving Company.

We began Flash Moving with just one old 2002 Isuzu truck we purchased from a bread delivery guy in the suburbs of Barnstable, MA. With sadness, we drove the truck to Newton, MA, and in the summer of 2017, we started doing our first jobs under the Flash Moving banner, still with the previous owner’s logo.

As the years went by, we worked tirelessly. As the number of orders increased, so did our responsibilities and duties. Now, Flash Moving has two locations: one in Boston, MA, and the other in Raleigh, NC. 

We’ve known each other (Phillip and Anthony) since 2009 and share the same values, which we both respect. We always consider these values when bringing in new team members, whether they are aspiring movers or sales managers. Employees who do not agree with or follow these values will only last for a while in our company.
